CRIES OF THE HEART

Hear the cries of people begging to be free,
But not willing to let go and trust in ME.
Hear the sadness coming from aching hearts,
Holding onto things they will not part.

Hear the agony of My Heart to set them free,
And fill My people with abounding glee.
But I’ve given everyone the gift of “choice:”
To decide if they want to heed My Voice.

I will not rescind the gift that I’ve given.
I won’t reverse My Promise – this is forbidden.
Though My Heart aches to rescue and save,
I must honor the gift of choice, each day.

Hear the crying of souls, and the pain in My Heart.
There’s weeping and sadness on both of our parts,
Knowing that freedom is but one Word away,
Will you intercede for My people, and pray?
