Lord Jesus Christ, You enable us to laugh
and enjoy your creations, like the tall, gentle giraffe.
Your precious Holy Spirit helps us to overcome!
You are the very Best – second to none!

Thank you, awesome God, that You really, really care.
You support and assistance us when we’re in despair.
You comfort and uphold us, you’re our wonderful Savior
who equips and empowers us, and then makes us braver!

Thank you that You help us to be willing to forego
the pride that tries to trap us on a dangerous plateau,
where we find ourselves stranded and being sorrowful,
not knowing how to get down to the grassy plain below.

Even when our decisions turn out to be daft,
You faithfully continue to work on our behalf.
You know how to make a way where there was none
so that the end result has a much better outcome!

Sparkling with delight
