Lord God Almighty, thank you for
blessing me beyond measure:
    For continually drawing me near
    Whispering strength into my ear
    Guiding me through each day,
    Listening to the words I pray.

Thank you for:
    Holding me when I’m sad,
    Teaching me how to be glad,
    Lifting my heart to see,
    That You really, really love me.

Thank you for:
    Imparting your wonderful thoughts,
    Rescuing me when I feel lost,
    Re-directing my feet when I roam,
    And making the right path known.

Thank you for:
    Pulling me out of the pit,
    Enabling me to quietly sit,
    Revealing that there’s much, much more,
    Cause you’re the God who restores!

We get distressed, and need restoration
To be like a butterfly in your mighty Hand,
That adds beauty and delight to this dismal land.

And for rescuing us in our desperation.
You sweep us into your comforting peace,
Where sorrows, anxiousness, and pain can cease.

Thank you, Christ, for your gift of salvation,
And pouring into us, much needed inspiration,
You fill our hearts with excitement and zeal!
And open our eyes to see what is real!

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for your dedication,
To turn each of us into glorious creations.
You pulled us out of the muddy pits,
So in heavenly places, we can sit!

You paid the price for our sin and pain,
So salvation and restoration, we could gain.

You allowed your body, to be bruised and beaten,
So that our lives could be healed and sweetened…
With love and truth, and goodness and peace,
So freedom and great joy, in our lives You release!
