YOU LIFT ME HIGHER

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for you remarkable Word,
that has strengthened me when trouble occurred,
that shattered the darkness, undeterred,
as in my heart, good things You stirred.

Thank you for your all-encompassing grace,
that enables me to walk in your pace,
and be amazed at the problems You erase,
as You lift me higher, and remove my disgrace.

Thank you, that You always call me to come,
and instruct me how to delight in the Son.
You teach me in your ways that overcome,
as I feast on your Word! Yum, yum, yum!

Thank you, that you’re the God of LIGHT,
who watches over me at night,
who gives me wisdom and a new birth right,
and fills me with amazing insight.
