TODAY

Thank you, God, for the gift of TODAY!
Lord Jesus Christ, have your way.
You are always with us – by our side,
In your holy Presence, we can feel ALIVE!

You protect us from the furious wind,
You hold us close, and forgive all our sin.
You dance us through the raging storms,
And You strengthen our spirit and keep us warm.

You cheer us on and never give up,
You bind our wounds and fill our cups.
You heal our hearts and set us free – 
To rest in your love, to relax, to be:

As children of the King, that You love so dear!
You unclog our ears, so we can hear
The thoughts You place inside our head,
And You invite us to feast on your heavenly Bread.
