REDEEMER

Lord Jesus Christ, You deserve the highest praise,
For saving and redeeming us; we’re honored and amazed!
Surrounded by your grace, overflowing with compassion,
You only thought of us, and took the necessary action!

You did something extraordinary – You found a perfect way,
You followed your amazing plan, to rescue and to save,
You defeated the evil enemy, on the wooden cross,
Cause You didn’t want any of us, to be all alone and lost.

You thought of us, above all else,
And willingly sacrificed yourself.
You paid the price for our sin and pain,
So salvation and restoration, we could gain.

You allowed your body, to be bruised and beaten,
So that our lives could be healed and sweetened…
With love and truth, and goodness and peace,
So freedom and great joy, in our lives You release!
