ONLY YOU!

Only You, Lord God, can calm my soul;
You quiet the storms, and make me whole.
Only You can satisfy my deepest needs;
You clear the path, so I can proceed.

Only You can lighten and carry my load,
As I give You my problems, and your name uphold.
Only You can smooth out the rough terrain,
To keep me from falling, and remove the pain.

Only You show me things from your perspective,
And refine my thinking, so my words are objective.
You lift up my reasoning, higher than myself,
So my actions do not harm anyone else.

Only You give me treasure from heaven to release,
That reflects your Glory and exudes your Peace.
Only You set my feet on solid ground,
And upon my head, place a victory crown.
