Come Near

Come near to Me, let Me soothe your soul,
Relinquish your plans; let go of control,
Be aware of My Presence, where there is Peace,
Where striving, hurry and tension cease.

Draw closer to Me, so you can receive,
Strengthening and enrichment to help you believe,
That you can abide in My glorious LIGHT,
And delight in your God both day and night!

I AM your Strength; I AM your Shield,
I transform your thinking, so you are healed.
I show you things that were previously concealed,
To deepen your roots, and produce a good yield.

I AM your Lord; I AM your Savior,
And the path I have for you is greater
Than anything you can do on your own,
When your heart’s desire is for Me to be your Home!
