Thank you, God, that You’re aware
Of the brokenness in our lives.
You know exactly what to do
And how to make us thrive.

When things go wrong or fall apart
You lift our hearts in hope
You give us strength to persevere
And teach us how to cope.

You rescue us from deep despair – 
To look beyond the grief,
And choose to flourish in your love
Where we experience great relief!

Cause You’re the One who does restore
The things the locust have eaten
When we place our trust in Jesus Christ
We are never, never beaten!

You, Jesus Christ, are the shining, bright Light
That pierces the darkness, morning, noon and night.
Your sparkling, pure water – the River of Life –
Flows from the throne, and saves us from strive!

You level the mountains that stand in our way,
You watch over us daily, and teach us to pray.
You hold us close, when we’re sad and feel down,
And You place on our heads, an undeserving crown.

You take us places we won’t go on our own,
And redirect our steps when we start to roam.
You take pleasure in preparing us for each season.
You’re more dependable than a lighthouse beacon.

Thank you for leading us to green pastures,
And sheltering us from many disasters.
Thank you for the joy we find in your Presence,
And the quietness of your love, that’s calming and pleasant.
