I’m the ONE who calls you by name,
Who carries your problems and your pain,
Who shelters you from the downpouring rain,
Who helps you navigate the rocky terrain.

I walk you across the endless plains,
That go on and on, to help you regain,
That which was stolen, so you can reclaim,
The territory I’ve given you – which is your domain.

I remove from you the sin that stains,
And strengthen your thoughts, and steady your frame,
And free you from weariness of the mundane,
And change your focus to winning the endgame.

I lift up your countenance so you can proclaim,
That you’re a child of God who has been ordained
With the rights and privileges that go with Christ’s name,
So the lies of this world no longer constrain.

View this preparation as an obstacle course,
That draws you close to the “Source.”

The “Source” of your love, your strength and power,
Is always Me, Christ, your Strong Tower!
Each obstacle is a chance to see,
That you need to be totally dependent on Me.

You want to figure each puzzle out,
So “Victory” is the word you can shout!
But the journey is about “togetherness with God,”
Who unveils the truth and removes the fog.
