Winter Walk

The winter seems much colder,
Each year as I get older.
The future doesn’t look so bright,
I really need a guiding light.
 
Rejoice, I’m here beside you,
My name is Jesus Christ,
I never leave or forsake you,
I offer you abundant life.
 
Your age doesn’t matter,
Or knowing what lies ahead,
Neither do skills or talents
Or the things you think you dread.
 
I will speak understanding,
Into your listening ear.
I’ll pick you up when you fall down,
And dry your every tear.
 
I will guide you down the paths,
That your eyes cannot see,
There never is an obstacle,
That’s too big or too hard for Me.
