![]() Risa Baldauf created her painting on crumpled piece of packing paper, adding fake gems and tin foil. Her interpretation is: “The tree is in a very difficult season. It does not have fruit now, but the silver leaves are to show the treasure in time of struggle. This tree will bear fruit!” God promises that as we place our trust in Him and obey His Word we will bear fruit. Risa’s painting is part of the Healing Gallery Traveling Art Show. When a print of it was on display at one of the churches in Illinois, a lady who was blessed and encouraged by it, shared what the Lord placed on her heart: “As scraggly a tree as you sometimes feel. know that I, the Lord God, dress you in the splendor of My mighty love with gems and treasure from Heaven. Though you may feel ill-equipped, rejoice! For I, Jesus Christ, am all you need, and I meet all your needs. It’s through the scraggly trees that I bring about victory!” The image of Risa’s tree was used with her permission. Risa owns the copyright to her art and to her words.
