Someday, I will meet you, 
In my heart, this I know, 
Someday, I will see your face, 
‘cause the Lord God tells me so.

You did not lose me forever, 
I live beyond time and space, 
In a world of great beauty and treasure, 
I now shine in His eternal grace.

I want you to know that I love you, 
I wanted to call you my mom, 
To grow up as your faithful child, 
Then everything went wrong.

But in the midst of the darkness, 
A light came that shone so bright, 
Surrounding my tiny body, 
I knew it would be alright.

I was lifted up into glory, 
With a love so pure and true, 
I knew there would be a story, 
Of a great big, “I love you.”

You have a treasure in Heaven, 
That waits for that glorious day, 
When your work on earth is finished, 
We will laugh and hug and play.

In the meantime, know that I love you, 
You can feel my love everyday, 
It’s intertwined with the Maker’s, 
And He’s sending it all your way.
